Show Notes: Thanks to everyone who called to become a KAOS member or renew their membership during Spin the Globe. Pledge/membership drives are hectic but rewarding, giving some direct feedback even from those listeners who don't usually call with requests. It's always nice to hear people say that STG is their favorite show. Thanks to everyone!

Oh, and I had some great new stuff this week. Didn't get to all of it, but was able to share some new discoveries, including Ali Bahia El Idrissi and US-based Indian-fusion group Alms for Shanti. We were supposed to have an intervew with Madeleine Sosin of Correo Aereo, but something went amiss. Will try again later, as I like their music very much.

# Our cover song of the week was a Beatles cover by Brazilian singer Mylene Pires, whose CD _Mylene we just received. That's the only cover song amid some tasty blending of MPB and electronica.
