Show Notes: Near the end of the first hour, I received a call from a listener complaining that she needed to go work in her yard, but I was playing such fun, upbeat music she was finding it hard to leave her house! This was a delightful show to put together, and it got me thinking about the qualities of music for kids. A simple catchy melody (without being simplistic), a message that's honest (not condescending), and with most of these selections a sense of fun and energy. What do you think?
