Show Notes: Live music is wonderful! I've done a lot of interviews recently, but it's been a while since I've had a full band in the studio. Sister Guitar Band was a delight. Their energy lit up the place. KAOS's news director said he was enjoying them so much he couldn't get his work done. The station's general manager said "It's been a while since a band gave me goose bumps." And the phones lit up with praise for their music, including from a listener in Austin, Texas. Although they can rock pretty hard, they did a great job selecting reggae/Latin-flavored songs that fit well into the Spin the Globe groove. Between their songs, I probably sounded like a doofus, because I was busy enjoying the music when I should have been thinking of what we'd talk about in the breaks. Fortunately, during this week's show, people weren't really paying attention to me. Many thanks to Teri, Suze, and the band (and great engineering by Balan). And yes, I'll try to have them on the show again. In the meantime, go see them live and get their CD, Universal Peace Experience. You want to support music of this quality.

# Our cover song of the week was performed live -- and convincingly -- this week by Sister Guitar Band - a reggae-flavored version of Janis Joplin's "Piece of My Heart."
