Old Favorites & New Releases + interview with Jaojoby

Show Notes:
Took a week away from themes to review some new world music releases and sneak in a few old favorites as well. We also spoke by phone with Malagasy guitarist/singer Jaojoby, who plays at Jazz Alley this weekend. This continues our features on Madagascar, which conclude on August 20th with an interview with Sean Whittaker, producer of the Vakoka project.

Most of the music played on Spin the Globe is available at cdRoots.com or CD Universe or the calabash.
