World Music by & for Kids + Fubuki Daiko interview

* = Specific listener request/response

Show Notes: Maybe it was a sub-conscious attempt to take my mind off the inaugeration, but this week's show focusing on world music for kids was a breath of fresh air. Music is about describing life, both the dark and light sides. But world music for kids tends to emphasize the light, the potential and possibilities for a life of love and positive engagement with friends, neighbors, and the world at large. This potential exists in the hearts of even the orphans of war and natural disasters. And we will need this reserve of resiliance to counter the damage adults are currently inflicting on the world.

Special greetings this week to those returning from Hajj - happy Eid Al Adha!
