Spin the Globe World Music

Spin the Globe Playlist for 4 February 2005
Bob + Mardi Gras + Arab Music + Ethnic Festival

* = Specific listener request/response

Show Notes: It's like a world music convergence zone this week. Tonight, the International Guitars show, tomorrow, Music of the Arab World and the Olympia Ethnic Festival. Sunday is Bob Marley's birthday. And Tuesday is Mardi Gras! For the latter, we heard a Deutche Welle World Music Live special featuring the music of Mannheim's Mardi Gras BB. We also heard Marley songs covered by Africans and Maoris, and much much more.

Most of the music played on Spin the Globe is available at cdRoots.com or CD Universe or the calabash.
