Spin
the Globe headed north today, Canada Day,
for a listen to its multicultural sounds. Home to artists including autorickshaw, Asza,
the Flying
Bulgar Klezmer Band, Mercan
Dede, Opiyo
Oloya, Joseph "Pepe" Danza, Uzume
Taiko, and Orchid
Ensemble, as well as many native/Inuit/First Nations artists,
Canada has a truly diverse sound. (Apologies to the listener
who requested Nickelback - no sign of them in the KAOS music
library!) |
