Show Notes

Naby Camara:
"Douniya/The World"

We were graced in the KAOS studio today with live music by members of Tyva Kyzy, who are currently on tour in the US. They've expanded their lineup and enhanced their show, bringing more Tuvan culture and humor as well as their distinctive throat-singing styles. We also heard sacred music from many other traditions in anticipation of the Feb. 4 World Sacred Music Festival here in Olympia.

See Spin the Globe's CD Reviews for reviews and info on new releases. Most of the music played on Spin the Globe is available on CD at cdRoots.com or CD Universe or via mp3 downloads at Calabash.
