2018-11-09 Sean Gaskell on Kora live at KAOS

Sean Gaskell at KAOSHas it been too long since STG has had a kora player in the KAOS performance studio? I’m thinking yes. So this week, Sean Gaskell  plays the West African harp for us, and catches us up on his musical adventures.

Or…listen to this show and hear the magical fingers of some of the best kora players in the world, including Toumani Diabate, Mory Kante, Mamadou Diabate, Ballake Sissoko, and others.

2011-11-18 Gypsy Music + Sean Gaskell (kora) live!

The scheduled interview with Lache Cercel was derailed by a family emergency that forced Lache to cancel his scheduled Olympia show and fly back to Romania, but I’m hoping we’ll get to that at a later date. But we did get an hour of great Romani music in, and part 2 of our Double Live show did happen, with Sean Gaskell and his kora performing four songs for us in the second hour of the show.
